The
gorillas are quite at home in the rainforest,
so why shouldn't we have some comforts too ?
The accommodation
used on our Primate Watch - Gorilla Tracking Safari - includes hotels, lodges and luxury tented
camps throughout Uganda, all set in areas that will give us the best
opportunities for wildlife viewing. We have chosen the very best accommodation
available, providing us with a luxury safari experience! All
have private facilities and are clean and comfortable.
The tented camps
at Bwindi (top left) and the cabins and lodge at Queen Elizabeth National
Park, Jacana Camp (top right), add greatly to our safari experience,
providing all the comforts of a fine hotel room (in Bwindi, the porcelain
bathroom opens to the rainforest!) while maintaining the exciting feel of a true
African safari. The Ndali Lodge (bottom) in Kibale Forest is one of the
most interesting we use...anywhere! The lodge, comprised of 8
cottages, is set on a hillside overlooking a crater lake. It is powered by
candle and lantern light conjuring images of days gone by.
