East Africa still attracts a great number of two legged animals, with
a traditional wildlife safari to famous parks such as
the Serengeti and Ngorongoro
Crater in Tanzania. We offer
traditional 4WD camping safaris (budget to luxury), or
with lodges for overnight stays and also walking safaris with a Massai guide,
trekking in the highlands of the Ngorongoro area or near the Massai Mara just
inside Kenya.
Malawi is known as the heart of Africa and it certainly is
one of the most beautiful in Africa. Lake Malawi is a gem that allows sailing,
kayaking and beach activities on its white sand. We have two budget options, one
to the North and the other to the South.
Our clients say "this must be the greatest value for money safari anywhere" of our 10 day safari in Namibia. Etosha National Park, has so much to offer and there are great adventures to be had as you hike in the Namib desert and trek the Fish River Canyon.
South Africa with Kruger NP being the oldest national park in Africa is revitalised and is now very popular with its race problems more or less a thing of the past. Swaziland and Zululand provide very interesting cultural hotspots.
By working with local people we ensure more of the money you pay for your holiday stays in the local economy. Also some of the profits from your safari will go towards projects for the Maasai in Tanzania and Kenya or the Himba in Namibia. This will help to ensure that the local people can sustain their livelihood, traditional ways and culture, as well as give you a great holiday playground.

Southern Africa
South Africa - Botswana - Victoria Falls - Zambia - Malawi - Mozambique - Kruger NP South Africa
This is the new 24 day budget safari around southern Africa. Starting from Johannesburg in South Africa we head first for Botswana, then Zambia and and then Malawi plus Kruger National Park in South Africa, finishing off back at Johannesburg.
The highlights of this first section of the safari is the chance to travel in the Makgadikgadi Pans and the Chobe River areas of Botswana followed by 2 nights at Victoria Falls. After the falls we travel to Kiambi Camp on the banks of the Zambezi River, before canoeing downstream with the gentle current to South Luangwa National Park.
The highlights of the second section start in Malawi with cultural insights, mountains and Lake Malawi. Plus the white sand beaches of Mozambique, where you may swim with dolphins, whale sharks and turtles. And finally the chance to watch the wildlife in the magnificent Kruger NP, Africa's oldest national park.
The two sections are available as two seperate safaris, so if you do not have the full 24 days to spare, you could do either part now and the rest next year.

This itinerary is for those with adventure stamped across their hearts. Spend
time in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and in and around (or under white
water) near Victoria Falls for 21 days of adventure.

Join one of our 7 Day Budget safaris for the
best value anywhere.
The Northern route has a mix of animal
safari and mountain biking or hiking. Enjoy the
stunning diversity of Malawi’s highlands, the hills, valleys and rocky peaks of
Viphya Plateau and the unique Vwaza Marsh Game Reserve populated with elephants,
zebra, hartebeest, impala and puku. Experience the breathtaking Nyika Plateau
and discover its wide open plains and rolling hills. Descending to the Lake
Shore we then visit the bustling harbour of Nhkata Bay. This friendly and
welcoming small fishing town offers a colourful contrast to the Malawi you have
already seen. Following the Lake Shore south, we end our safari relaxing on the
beautiful tropical white sandy beaches of Chinteche or enjoy a variety of
activities available along the lakeshore.

Explore the highlights of southern
Malawi in a luxurious style. Visit the famous Mua mission and museum on the road
to Cape Maclear. Stay at Mumbo Island and explore Africa’s most important
freshwater fish sanctuary. After a visit to Zomba, head up to the
breathtaking Zomba Plateau. End your safari by visiting Malawi’s premier
national park, Liwonde NP.

This overland tour covers the main areas of interest
in Namibia as well as animal viewing at the famous Etosha National
Park.
Etosha National Park is the main tourist draw in Namibia, with its 22,270 Sq km' it is one of the largest wildlife hotspots in Africa, and certainly one of the best-known. Etosha has three camps - Okaukuejo, favoured for its floodlit water hole frequented by "specials" such as elephant, giraffe, black rhino and lion; Namutoni, characterised by the historic fort around which it is centred; and Halali, conveniently situated halfway between Okaukuejo and Namutoni.
