Maasai Mara's Dream Camp

The Maasai Mara ecosystem boasts one of the most diverse
and greatest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. The large lion and cheetah
populations combined with the spectacular wildebeest and zebra migration provide
a unique animal watching opportunity. The Mara is also a haven for many rare and
exotic species of birds. Use Dream Camp as your base for a
safari.

Dream Camp is perfectly situated as a base for animal viewing drives,
walking safaris,
and a
variety of other activities, as well as peaceful relaxation. The early
morning, afternoon or evening drives provides you with the
opportunity to visit a wide number of locations ensuring some wonderful
memories and pictures. The walking safari brings you closer
to nature, always with the protection of our Maasai hosts.
Why not start one of your days with the awesome experience of viewing the savannah from a hot air balloon ?
Entertaining and professional lectures on wildlife and culture, as well as a visit to a Maasai village are offered at the camp.
Working together with our Maasai hosts, researchers and
environmental organisations, we have developed the Dream Camp concept. The camp
is one of the most ecologically friendly camps in Africa. Both electricity and
hot water are generated using solar power. All the waste water from the tents is
used to irrigate more than 3,000 trees, and all the kitchen waste is separated
and composted.
Dream Camp Maasai Mara is now
approved with international Fair Trade standards.
It is now a member of
COFTA (Cooperation for Fair Trade in Africa).

Our message: "Leave a positive footprint" clearly appeals to
Barack Obama! When visiting Kenya in 2006, his choice for a safari experience
was Dream Camp Maasai Mara, where he planted a tree - for the
future!
You can enjoy the privacy and the peace and quiet of your own
veranda, while the beautiful views of the Mara and the magical
sounds of the African night soothe your soul. The practical
and appealing tent interiors, comfortable beds and hot showers
in your private bathroom further contribute to your feeling of
well-being.
