Peru - Mountaineering

Climbing - Cordillera Blanca of Peru

Climbing Chopicalqui (6345m) & Tocllaraju (6034m) is a great experience, with spectacular sights of grand peaks all around.  Our expeditions to the Cordillera Blanca are based in the town of Huaraz situated at the foot of the mountains. We will acclimatise by hiking in the lower valleys of the Cordillera Blanca before making two separate mountaineering treks to the two mountains. There will be opportunities to do some trekking and/or to climb one or two lower or less technical peaks during the acclimatisation period of the expedition.
