This bike tour goes through the dramatic valleys and ridges of
the Garhwal Himalaya. Regarded by many as one of the most beautiful
areas in the Himalaya. The area has some wonderful views of the
nearby 7000 + metre peaks. Meet fascinating sadhus (Hindu holy
men) along their way on religious pilgrimages.
Starting from Delhi, a city of contrasts: the old forts, mosques and bazaars and the new, elegant avenues, stately homes and landscaped gardens. Garhwal, is the Dev Bhoomi (Land of Gods) steeped in legend and an ancient place for spiritual fulfilment. From the popular hill town of Mussoorie, we cycle along a ridge with breathtaking panoramic views of the Greater Himalayan ranges to Dhanolti. We pass enchanting villages, terraced farmlands, and gurgling brooks to arrive at Guptakashi, a quaint little town mentioned in the Indian epic, Mahabharata. We then go through the high grasslands of Chopta in the Kedarnath musk deer sanctuary and head through the jungle to Rishikesh and Hardwar, the renowned centres of Hindu spiritualism.

A 10 day tour on and off road for the more experienced rider. We travel around
the Kathmandu valley rim through mixed oak, rhododendron, pines and wild orchid
forests as well as open airy trails. You get an overview of Kathmandu City and
at times magnificent vistas of the majestic Himalaya.
