Serengeti Ngorongoro Safari - 5 full Days

 

Safari into Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti staying at TAHI lodges. This is 7 day itinerary gives the extra time you need to see the best that Ngorongoro Crater has to offer. Two full days in the Serengeti with time in the central and southern areas.

Our guide will make this a very special safari with his knowledge of the area, flora and fauna.

Outline Itinerary
 
Day 1   Transfer by shuttle bus from Nairobi to Arusha.  Overnight at the Novotel Mount Meru Hotel. D.

Day 2   After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara National Park for two animal viewing drives (about 2-3 hrs each). Overnight at Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge.  B, L, D.

Day 3   After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro Crater and after lunch at the lodge, drive down into the crater for an animal viewing drive (about 4 - 5 hrs).  Overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge. B, L, D.

Day 4   A second day in Ngorongoro Crater for animal viewing drive with a picnic lunch (about 6 - 7 hrs of wildlife observation).  Overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge. B, L, D.

 

Day 5  Make an early start and explore the central area of Serengeti National Park.  Take lunch at the lodge.  Continue the animal viewing drive.  Overnight at Seronera Wildlife Lodge. B, L, D.

Day 6  A full day of animal viewing as you have a picnic lunch in the bush.  Overnight at Lobo Wildlife Lodge. B, L, D.

Day 7  Transfer to Arusha after breakfast. B.

What is included
All transfers. Accommodation in Tahi lodges and hotels with meals as shown in the itinerary by the code B,L,D.  Park entrance fees, vehicle, driver/guide and activities as described above. 

What is not included
The price allows for joining in Arusha and does not include international or internal flights or departure taxes,  personal insurance, visa fees, vaccination costs, personal clothing and equipment, all items of a personal nature and all drinks.  Tips. Airfare (from the UK)
As a guide, the international airfare should be about £450 - £550 (high season) economy class. We can provide a very competitive quote with excellent service for your flight tickets.

Visa
A visa is required for Tanzania (£38) and also Kenya if you fly into Nairobi (£30).  We provide an optional extra service if you need assistance in obtaining your visa.
