Swala is the Swahili word for impala and a herd of these beautiful small antelope is often in the camp.  Tarangire is one of Africa's best places to see elephant, as these creatures know to return regularly to the ever flowing river.  You will see the elephants regularly visit the water hole at the edge of the camp, as well as other visitors such as the impala and many birds.

The luxury tents have a wooden floor and viewing deck, plus ensuite hot showers and toilet.

Swala is in a rarely visited and private part of Tarangire National Park.
