Muir's Tours - polar bears |
The Northern
Lights
An added feature of staying
outside of Churchill, Canada's capital of polar bears on the south western side
of Hudson Bay is that you get a much better chance of viewing the
Aurora Borealis - the northern lights.

On cloudless nights, away from the lights of Churchill, early evening brings streaks of white across the sky. As the crisp evening wears on, we can stand on the lodge's specially designed decks and view reds and blues and greens as they dance across the northern sky!! Seeing the northern lights is a moving experience indeed and our stay at the lodge gives a great opportunity to view them amongst a small group of travellers.
