and Conditions - Important Extracts
Itineraries displayed on our website are intended as
examples only. A full itinerary and details of what is included and excluded will be issued to each participant by email or
post and it is these emailed or posted itineraries that forms part of the contract.
In the field, actual itineraries may have to be varied depending upon weather,
wildlife habits, contract service providers, logistical decisions
of the tour leader, and forces beyond our control. Prices are
based on specific foreign exchange rates and tariffs may change
if these foreign exchange rates vary. Visitors must be prepared to be flexible;
schedules may vary depending on circumstances. Full

Single
Supplement
The prices have been calculated
allowing for double occupancy. If you are travelling alone and
would like for us to try and arrange a suitable room mate for
you, we will make every effort to do so. If a room mate is not
available or you wish single accommodation (where available),
we must charge a Single Supplement which reflects the additional
cost we incur for a singly occupied double room.

Price
Please
note that exchange rates affect the prices shown on our Polar Bear
Tours and either the US Dollar or Canadian Dollar is the base currency.
Manitoba
taxes of 7% net of a rebate to non residents are included in our prices.
Deposit
Required
The deposit per person is GBP250 / USD600 / CAD750 by cheque, credit card or a combination
of both.
For Cape Churchill tours the deposit is 35% of the total
cost. See below.
Full payment is due 100 days prior to departure.
Cancellation
Policy - Other than Cape Churchill
For all tours except Cape Churchill, and
otherwise noted on individual itineraries: In the event that you must cancel
your reservation, refunds will be made according to the following schedule:
Deposit only paid:
non-refundable. 100-61 days prior to departure, 65% of the total
is non-refundable. Less than 60 days prior to departure, 100%
non-refundable.
Cancellation
Policy - Cape Churchill Trips
Due to the specialist nature of this particular
destination we require a deposit of 35% of the total cost
at time of booking to reserve your place on the tour. 30% of the total cost is
refundable if you reserved space at least 12 months prior to the start of the
tour. 25% is refundable up to 30 days after the booking date if reserved
prior to 1st July for October or November of the same year in which you travel. Final payment is due 1st August
in the year of travel.
If cancellation occurs after August 1st, and your space can be
resold then your payments will be refunded less GB£450 / US$1000 per person,
but only if the space is resold, otherwise the tour cost is non-refundable.
Insurance
Because many advance logistical
arrangements have been made prior to the running of these trips,
we must adhere to the above policy. In addition, you should be
aware that some medical insurance policies, including US Medicare,
do not cover your expenses, including medical evacuation, while
travelling in a foreign country. Therefore all participants must purchase trip cancellation / medical evacuation insurance. Optional insurance
may be purchased at the time of booking your tour. Please note the cost of this
cover is 100% non-refundable.

its Canadian and US partners will not be held responsible
for missed connections, missed check-in times, improper documentation,
lost, stolen, or damaged luggage. Any additional expenses caused
by late or cancelled transportation will be borne by
the traveller. Your arrangements should include plenty of time for delays that
may occur due to weather or mechanical failure.
